AppleTV Instructions
The AppleTV allows wireless connection from most Apple devices via AirPlay. Apple provides AirPlay instructions that provide information to initiate a connection for macOS, iPhone, iPad, and iPod devices. You will want to connect to BIOC-Rm 448-1578 in this room.
Initiating a connection from your device should automatically turn the display on and configure it to the correct input. If the display doesn’t automatically power on, you can use the remote to turn it on and select input BIOC-Rm 448-1578. There is also a physical power/select button on the bottom of the display near the Sony logo. You can press this button to turn the display on. Once the display is on you can use the button to navigate through options such as power and input by clicking the button, or make selections by holding the button (example: click until Power is highlighted, then hold the button to turn the display off).
You will be prompted to enter a 4-digit security code to ensure you are connecting to the correct device and prevent unauthorized connections.
Once connected you can adjust display resolution, screen mirroring or extended display, etc. as desired from the relevant System Preferences/Settings.
HDMI Cable Instructions
An HDMI cable is available in the left cabinet below the display.
Use the remote to turn the TV on. If the input is not automatically selected, you can press the TV button on the remote to switch to HDMI Cable.
Once connected you can adjust display resolution, screen mirroring or extended display, etc. as desired from the relevant System Preferences/Settings.
